Read MoreA brisket board is a large (think Texas big.. where they love brisket) cutting with a juice groove AND little reservoir cup in the juice groove to catch all those delicious drippings for whatever tasty idea you have for them. In this video I make them two ways. One with a more typical shop approach that fits most power tools or wood working machines, then another using a Shaper Origin.. which is a pretty addictive little gizmo I gotta say.

Read MoreI've been wanting to try my hand at some carving so I created a project need to be able to do that. My kids have been saving their gift money in jars for our next trip to Disney World and I thought it'd be fun to give them a cooler place to store them.
Read MoreThe face or vase optical illusion we're all familiar with got me thinking, why couldn't it be a real face? Then I realized it could be a great gift idea, and a perfect DIY gift for Mother's Day! Fortunately, that holiday is nearby so this was the perfect opportunity to make my Mother's Day gift idea of a child's silhouette vase. We had to do it a bit early so I could share this idea with you in time to make one, but I'll tell you - my wife loved it!
Read MoreI made some epoxy charcuterie boards with lichtenberg figures with some help from a friend. Epoxy boards are already super cool, but the lichtenberg figures really take them to a new level! Many thanks to Adam from MoDiggs for helping with this project, and TotalBoat for sponsoring.
Read MoreHere's how I made 100 beer flight boxes for Cartridge Brewing! These are solid walnut and feature rabbet joinery reinforced with once fired 9mm casings, branded leather badges that are brass tacked on, and a chalkboard to label the libations that Catridge Brewing will serve in the boxes! I mean, how could I make beer flight boxes for a brew pub called Catridge Brewing that's going in an old ammunition factory and NOT use brass casings in it somewhere? If you're in the Cincinnati area or just love great beer, be sure to follow instagram.com/cartridgebrewing or https://cartridgebrewing.com to visit them as soon as they open in 2020!

Read MoreI wanted a dog treat to keep treats handy for working my new pup, going on walks, or when we're out at the dog park.. so I made these two leather pouches! One has an open slot so there's no fasteners or pulls to mess with to get treats out. The other leather pouch is more typical with two snap fasteners and a fold over flap. Don't need a treat bag? No problem! Just size the pieces for whatever you want to put in a pouch and make one that fits perfectly.
Read MoreThis Epoxy Beach Wall Art with LED Sunset was a lot of fun to make! The sunset colors came out great with just painting tinted epoxy onto a piece of acrylic, but individually programmable LEDs could be used instead.
