Is Woodworking Poisonous?
Woodworking poses respiratory risks, that's obvious. But what are the risks, and how do we actually protect ourselves from them? This video discusses the two main risks in my woodshop, particulates and VOCs. And the three mitigation strategies I use to keep myself safe which are collecting pollutants at the source, wearing PPE, and using ambient air cleaners for both particulates and VOCs.
